Dr. John Giardina, earned his B.S. in Biology from Syracuse University and went on to receive his Doctor of Optometry degree form the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. In addition to comprehensive eye care, Dr. Giardina specializes in contact lens examinations, medical & diabetic eye care. His practices also offers advanced Digital Retinal Imaging.
Dr. Giardina spent a number of years as a consultant and lecturer in the discipline of Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation, offering specialized vision services for adults and children with a history of Traumatic Brain Injury and other neurological, developmental and learning disabilities. Outside of his profession, Dr. Giardina enjoys spending time with his family. He has spent much time watching his daughter Camille play basketball. She was a 4 year NCAA First Team All American, and now has her college jersey displayed in the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame, since being inducted there in 2019. Camille moved on to play basketball professionally in Italy. As a high school football coach, Dr. Giardina spent years passing his knowledge and passion of the game on to his players. He has been very fortunate to have been involved in his sons, John and Gene’s journey from youth football on through playing through their college years. He also enjoys fishing , skiing and fine carpentry.
